Frequently Asked Questions
What will happen during Hypnotherapy?
Many people are still fearful of Hypnotherapy and believe that someone will take over their mind, make them do things they don't want to do or make them say things they don't want to say. During Hypnotherapy, the client is totally in control, just in a very relaxed state. If you have ever experienced the feeling of reaching your destination without really realising how, then you know what it is like to be in the trace like state that you are in with Hypnosis. If you have any questions or fears about Hypnosis, please do call to find out more in depth information on how Hypnosis works.
Will I be able to be Hypnotised?
Yes, although everyone is different and some people may find it easier to relax than others. There are different relaxation methods for different people and it is important to find the relaxation method to suit each individual.
How many sessions will I need?
For Hypnotherapy, the recommended number of sessions is usually around 6 though this is dependent on the individual. Some people may need less and others, more. Quitting smoking is a one off 2 hour session.
For Counselling and Psycotherapy, the number of sessions vary considerably. Many people wish to discuss a specific issue which they would like to resolve, whereas some decide to have regular ongoing counselling as a tool for life.
